With 25+ years of leadership experience in government and professional accreditation as a Certified Organisational Coach (Levels 1 & 2, PIECL), I understand the real challenges government leaders face—because I’ve lived them.

I’ve led teams of up to 250 people, overseen multi-million-dollar projects, managed high-stakes policy implementation, and navigated major organizational change in public service. I’ve worked in fast-moving, high-pressure environments like disaster response and crisis leadership, balancing the needs of communities, government bodies, and stakeholders.

Now, I use my real-world leadership experience and accredited coaching expertise to help public sector professionals and government leaders navigate complexity, lead with confidence, and drive meaningful impact.

    • Managed budgets, business plans, grant applications, and risk management strategies for various public sectors.

    • Applied for and received major grants, securing critical funding for government projects.

    • Overseen multi-million-dollar projects for the design and construction of major library facilities.

    • Led the integration of separate software management systems to streamline public sector operations.

    • Designed and redesigned community service points, introducing innovative service delivery models.

    • Conducted extensive community consultations, ensuring public voices shape policy and decision-making.

    • Led industry workshops for 30+ years, sharing expertise with public sector professionals.

    • Led disaster recovery efforts during catastrophic bushfires and floods—amid a global pandemic.

    • Stood up and managed a Disaster Recovery Centre to coordinate emergency response.

    • Worked with industry sectors in complex and fast-moving environments, including disaster recovery and crisis management.

    • Oversaw multiple public-facing services during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring community support and resilience.

    • Worked with Prosci, Human Synergistics, MBTI, and LSI to drive leadership and cultural transformation.

    • Led organisational change and restructuring to improve efficiency and service delivery.

    • Developed and mentored high-performing teams in challenging and high-pressure environments.

Why I Coach: A Mission to Empower Public Sector Leaders

In my final years as a government leader, I saw firsthand how complex and demanding leadership had become. The pressures were greater, the expectations higher, and the support systems often lacking. While I still loved the work, I knew I wanted to make a wider impact—not just within my own team, but across the entire government sector.

Coaching gave me that opportunity. The ability to help leaders grow, navigate challenges, and thrive—leaders who, in turn, would strengthen the teams beneath them and drive meaningful change.

But coaching isn’t just a career shift for me; it’s deeply tied to my purpose—to be the difference for others. After hundreds of hours of coaching, that purpose burns as strong as ever. With every new engagement, I look forward to making that difference in the lives and careers of public sector leaders.
